Fes Sightseeing Day Tour

Fes Sightseeing Day Tour: The uniqueness of Fes stems from the richness of its cultural heritage. Besides, you will explore the city and visit the main attractions starting with the old medina. It is an amazing labyrinth of narrow streets and alleyways. Thereafter, begin your full-day tour at Bab Boujloud, the ornate blue gate leading into the medina. Then, head to the magnificent Moulay Idriss Mausoleum.

Next, you’ll visit the medieval university of Al-Qarawiyyin, which is both a university and a mosque situated in the heart of the medina. Also, UNESCO has named it the oldest continuously functioning educational institution in the world. After that, you will pass by other schools such as the Madrasa Bouanania built by Sultan Abu Inan Faris and the Madrasa Al-Attarine created by Sultan Uthman II Abu Said. Visit the Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts and Crafts and see the traditional tools used by craftsmen, and the Berber carpets and musical instruments. See the city’s tannery, a fascinating place that is the largest tannery in Africa. After that, your guide will give you pieces of information about the old city if you want to walk around. In the afternoon, your local guide will take you to your riad or hotel where you will end your day sightseeing.

We did a three days tour from Fez to Marrakesh, everything was well planned and precise. We had the possibility to see lots of landscapes and different places in Marocco. We enjoyed a lot the tour in the desert and the night we spent in the camp, especially the singing and dancing around the fire. Everyone was really welcoming and we felt really taken care of. Our driver Yassin, was patient and kind and we really enjoyed spending time with him. We really recommend this tour to everybody.
Me and my friend Andrea ( both Italians) went on a three day tour to the desert from Marrakech. We met our driver Mohammed at the airport early in the morning and from the very beginning till the end of our drive he had been so kind and friendly and professional. We spent the first two days and one night on the way to the desert crossing stunning landscapes , amazing panoramas, historical sites, breathtaking gorges.... He had been so patient and he explained and answered us back to every questions we asked. The second day we arrived to the desert's borders and there were Brahim and his staff waiting for us , everyone with a huge smile on their faces. We went trough our first experience in the desert on dromedaries and it was great! We stopped for the sunrise and I can't explain the feeling....no words. Then we proceed to the camp, we got a welcome tea with biscuits and then a proper delicious dinner in one of the luxury tend . We spent the night together around the fire, dancing, playing their traditional instruments , enjoying and having fun. The atmosphere was great and we felt like home . But the best had been looking at the stars sitting on the dunes sourrounded by silence, fresh air and nature. The tend in which we slept was a very luxury and comfortable one as every others. We woke up the next morning with a huge breakfast , we chilled a bit under a warm sun and then we went back on dromedaries again to the car and then back to marrakech . I can't give anything but a five star rewiews of our experience. The owner and the staff were so cheerful and they paid attention to every our needs. They shared with us their life, their culture, their happines in such a spontaneous way and together with the desert and our trip that had been priceless. Thank you all and thank you, Morocco .
