- Itinerary: 5 Days Tour From Marrakech To Fes
Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi-N-Tichka – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate.
After breakfast, we will start the 5 days tour from Marrakech to Fes. Firstly, our driver will meet you at your Acomandatin. After that, you will drive south-eastwards via the fascinating landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains. Also, on the Tizi-n-Tishka Pass (2260 m Altitude). You will see Berber farmers working on their terraced farms, and herding sheep than to the impressive & well-known Kasbah AIT BEN HADDOU ( for a visit) a Berber castle where many movies have been shot such as Lawrence of Arabia, Tea in The SAHARA, Babel, the Mumy, Prince of Persia. After, we continue to Ouarzazate named “Hollywood of Morocco” here we will visit the town of Ouarzazate. The Kasbah of Taourirt and cinema studio. Check into your accommodation.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges – Tinghir – Toudra Gorges.
In the morning after breakfast departure to Skoura to visit Amredhyle kasbah. Then, going towards the Dades Gorges through Kelaa Mgouna valley of roses passing through a spectacular sight made of mountains formed like Monkey-Fingers then set off to see the panoramic view of Dades Valley road. After we will drive back the same way to join the road to Todra Gorges or the so-called «the Grand Canyons of Morocco” it’s an ideal place for walking and exploring on your own. Dinner and overnight in your Accommodation in Canyon Todra.
Day 3: Tundra Gorges – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga.
After breakfast, we will have a walk-in the Canyon Todra and afterward depart to join Erfoud by Tinjdad Palm grove (lunch on the spot) and the one of Touroug. Break-in Erfoud to visit the marble and fossil production workshop and then going by the track of Paros Dakar towards the amazing dunes of Erg Chebbi in order to see the sunset and spend the night at the feet of the dunes in a hotel.
Day 4: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga.
After breakfast you’ll start the tour of the dunes you’ll stop in Khamlia village. It’s a traditional home built of thick earthen bricks made from a mixture of clay to enjoy the live Gnaoua music which is played by the locals. Set off to another sight you’ll «live like a nomad” experience the simple life by visiting them in their tent. Here, in the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, the largest in Morocco, enjoy the panoramic scene of black volcanic rock on the plains, the bright blue sky, the green palm trees, white salt beds, mirages of water, and golden shifting dunes. Arrive at the stunning accommodation and spend the 2nd night in the lodge in a Berber tent, and you will be playing drums with camel men after dinner, overnight in Berber camp in the desert.
Day 5: Camel Trekking – Erg Chebbi – Ziz Valley – Cedar Forest – Ifran – Fes.
Wake up early to see the spectacular sunrise, when the color of the dunes and the play of shadows are an awesome sight. After breakfast and shower, drive up Northwards Fes via the so exquisite views of the 1000 ZIZ-Palm trees. Then, lunch is in Midelt, “the apple capital”, at the foot of the Ayachi Mountain. Then have a pet stop to enjoy some time with Monkeys in Azrou Cedar Forest. Afterward, visit the Moroccan Switzerland “IFRAN” then up to Fes in the evening, and arrives in Fes.
