In Fes, we offer a guided tour to discover the Medina. You meet your guide and start your guided tour around Fes. Fes is the oldest imperial city, founded by Idriss II. It is also a cultural and traditional center of Arab-Muslim society. You will then explore the Mosque of the Andalusians, Chouara tanneries. Also, you should move to the Medersas and the new part of the city. Finally, we stay overnight in a hotel /riad.
After breakfast, we will drive towards Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco. Afterward, we continue to Midelt, and then we pass along the Ziz Valley to reach Erfoud city. It is famous for its local fossil products and date fruits. Then, we continue to Rissani to explore its souk. Finally, our journey finishes in Merzouga, where we stay in a desert hotel.
Once you have breakfast, we will explore the desert areas. Firstly, you visit the village of Khamlia, which is famous for Gnawa music. Then have lunch with Nomad people who live in the desert. Afterward, we will prepare ourselves for a camel ride, crossing the dunes. Once we reach the desert camp, we have dinner and music around the campfire. Finally, spend time alone under the starry sky.
Today, the camel guide will wake you up to watch the sunrise at the top of the dunes. After that, we rode camels back to the village of Merzouga. After a shower and breakfast in the hotel, we’ll head to Rissani. Then, we drive to Tinghir, and we reach Todra Gorges. This area offers the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. Here, we hiked within the valley and took amazing pictures. After lunch in the gorge, we will continue to the Dades Valley. There, we’ll enjoy sand castles and also the rock formations called “monkey fingers”. Later, we stayed in the Dades Gorges in a local hotel.
